#18 Colored Pencils like Oil Paints
I look at this unfinished drawing and it seems like I created it in another lifetime.
I was just getting back to drawing and painting and felt lost as to where to begin. I created this with colored pencils, blended to look like oil paint, after taking another of Australian Artist, JaneDavenport ’s online workshops a few years ago.
If you are just getting started and are not sure where to begin, she has an online course called “Supplies Me” where she introduces yummy new art supplies to try while teaching traditional and unique ways to use them.
Nowadays, she even has her own line of art supplies available in art and craft stores worldwide. Lol, I sound like an advertisement, but have no affiliation. I just admire her giving nature, caring teaching style and how openly
she shares her knowledge with her students. She has so many wonderful classes from beginner to advanced, and her style is absolutely stunning!
